Is this allowed? And is my data safe?
Yes to both. The EU Electricity Directive gives citizens in every member state the right to share energy locally — in the Netherlands through the peer-to-peer trader role in the 2026 Energy Act. VoltVillage is not an energy supplier: we are the digital administrator that matches households and works with a licensed balancing partner for the official grid accounting.
